480ft2 SPACE FOR LIVING
This project focuses on small apartment interior design, combining smart space planning, custom storage, and modern residential aesthetics to improve functionality, openness, and comfort within a compact home. The design reorganizes the bedroom, bathroom, living area, bar table, and entrance storage according to daily living needs, creating a clearer layout, reducing wasted corners, and enhancing overall usability.
To improve storage efficiency, the project features a raised platform bed with built-in under-bed storage, transforming unused space into concealed storage while defining a clearer boundary between the sleeping zone and the living area. An L-shaped wardrobe beside the bedroom, together with additional storage near the bathroom, helps organize clothing and daily essentials, improving visual order and making the home feel cleaner and more spacious.
In the main area, an open bar table connects the kitchen and living room, adding flexibility for dining and everyday interaction while making the layout feel more open. At the entrance, a shoe cabinet, full-height custom cabinetry, and designated appliance positions further improve circulation and storage planning. Finished in a black, white, and grey palette with glossy surfaces, linear lighting, and dark wall finishes, the design creates a bold modern style and shows how custom interior design can enhance both function and spatial quality in a small apartment.
